About Muchachos

Muchachos is a fast-casual restaurant in Singapore, serving authentic Mexican food like tacos, burritos and quesadillas.

After five years at their old location, Muchachos reopened in a new location in 2018, with a new look and a tweaked menu.

The Muchachos team was looking for a way to welcome loyal customers, while also building a base of new regulars in their new venue. They decided to start a digital loyalty program using CandyBar.

The CandyBar Effect

Muchachos customers earned a stamp for every $10 spent, and earned a $5 reward for every 5 stamps. Since launch, the results speak for themselves:

  • In 18 months, over 3,000 customers have enrolled in Muchacho’s loyalty program, earning more than 21,000 stamps in total visits.
  • Close to 2,000 rewards have been redeemed - that’s almost $10,000 in discounts redeemed by customers.
  • Almost half the customers have earned a reward; 56% have redeemed 2 or more rewards. One customer has even earned 36 rewards!
